OUR STORY.
On The River began with a simple idea: create a place where Cardiff can slow down.
We took a tucked-away stretch of the riverside and turned it into a chilled-out retreat shaped by the city we love. A space where friends catch up over cocktails, cyclists refuel with fresh coffee, and locals gather for match days, celebrations, or just because.
We’re independent, community-driven, and obsessed with bringing great hospitality back to basics — good people, good food, and a warm, effortless atmosphere.
